The story of the legendary pop star was eventually going to be a movie some day. Michael Jackson’s estate proposed a biopic about the King of Pop to Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock’s Montecito Picture Co. about producing and financing the project. According to Variety, the project would only cover certain periods of the late singer’s life. Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by the Guinness World Records. His 1982 album “Thriller” is the best-selling album of all-time. He also earned 13 Grammy Awards, 26 American Music Awards, 13 number-one singles in the United States and sold over 750 million records worldwide. He is also known for his controversial eclectic lifestyle, behavior and personal relationships. He had two previous marriages, including one to Lisa Marie Presley, the famed daughter of another singer Elvis Presley. He was also accused of child sexual abuse, but was found not guilty on all accounts.

controversial by who's standards? eclectic lifestyle - that's what made him extra special for me, MJ was like NO OTHER! If this film happens I hope it shines a bright light onto Michael's philanthropic endeavors as well as his genius and how intellectual he is
