Pathologist examines the evidence from MJs post-mortem exam for new TV series
Diana pathologist presents TV show
5th December 2013
A pathologist who gave evidence at the inquest into Princess Diana’s death will examine the evidence from Michael Jackson’s post-mortem examination as part of a new TV series about dead celebrities.
Dr Richard Shepherd will present the three-part series called Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… which examines the facts behind Whitney Houston and Anna Nicole Smith’s deaths, as well as Jackson’s.
He said: “The fascinating thing about an autopsy is that if you know how to read it correctly, it doesn’t just tell you how a person died, it can tell you even more about how they lived.
“And furthermore, autopsies are non-judgemental; they are simply a scientific acquisition of facts, so in the case of a person that is well known, that objectivity can allow you to see them with fresh eyes, up close and personal and as if for the first time.
“The fact that they are a celebrity makes no difference at all.”
The series of three one-hour shows will air on Channel 5 early next year and will include interviews with people who knew the dead stars.
Channel 5 commissioning editor Guy Davies said: “When each of these icons died it was global news, but the public version of their lives and deaths were largely built on rumour and conjecture.
“Our programmes use the hard medical facts of the actual autopsy findings – examined and interpreted by a world respected pathologist – and first-hand accounts by those who really knew them – to intelligently piece together these shocking stories, and reveal the reality behind their final, desperate hours.”

Personal note: “The fact that they are a celebrity makes no difference at all.” REALLY!? So why not do the show on 'anonymous' passed souls? This is more BS! Someone using MJ for attention and if you want to call it 'fame' - UGH!!!

The MJE knows about this now too. Everyone can take a couple minutes to email too. Anyone in the UK can call Channel 5 and talk directly to them about this.

Re: Pathologist examines the evidence from MJs post-mortem exam for new TV series
Waste of time and effort, I got the same reply as midangerous. I've contacted these clowns before over other complaints I've made about Michael in the past and it's the same old, same old answers. We can only hope the programme gets pulled once it gets enough complaints.
I once emailed another channel about a so-called comedian who thought he was being funny making sick repulsive remarks about Michael. I told him he was a first class arsehole and had no respect. It was apparently passed on to him which was deserved. He's called Alan Carr. He's a prick. Sorry for the rant but I do get highly irritated by these rats and programmes that are forever negative!!. I just can't get my head around why it's always allowed!.

Message From The Estate Of Michael Jackson about the MJ autopsy show
Message From The Estate Of Michael Jackson about the MJ autopsy show
I received this email this AM:
Hello:
Although it is not possible for the Estate to bring legal action to stop the broadcast of the program about the autopsy performed on Michael, the Executors want Michael's fans to know that letters have been sent to the broadcaster and station owner expressing the Estate's disgust at those who heartlessly work to profit from the most banal, salacious details of Michael's death. In part, the letter from John Branca and John McClain asks Channel 5 to show good taste and common decency by canceling Tuesday’s planned airing of Autopsy: Michael Jackson’s Last Hours. The letter also states: "Despite Channel 5’s cynical and disingenuous promotions claiming Autopsy 'separates fact from fiction,' it is nothing more than another sleazy tabloid program exploiting Michael’s tragic and untimely death.....Separating 'fact from fiction,' the Michael Jackson his friends and family knew was a loving father, a global entertainment icon and humanitarian devoted to making the world better. His children do not deserve to see their father’s death callously exploited out of greed because a new TV series desperately wants to attract viewers."
The Executors share the fans hope that Channel 5 show the good judgment to cancel the broadcast of this distasteful program.

Nothings changed, this programme was still advertised right up to lastnight. I haven't had a chance yet to switch telly on - just a bit busy making tea now lol, but will be sitting down in front of the telly later on so hopefully I'll catch some commercials and see if this BS is still going to be aired tomorrow. Don't hold out any hopes that this will be cancelled. WE WISH!.
