What's happening with Ploppy
Hi everyone, I have missed you all so much. The throbbing has finally eased up with my fractured heel bone that I received when I fell trying to hang my Michael Jackson 6' BAD standee. Man oh man it sure hurt and I've noticed that the rain and humidity makes it ache but for the most part the heavy duty meds are keeping the pain manageable. I know I am feeling better because I am now lying around reading. I started with the Bodyguard's book too - about 1/2 way through but a little disappointed. I think I was expecting more info on Michael but I guess they were 2 of the good people and didn't gossip or talk about the boss. They did show how the "bad" guys did start to infiltrate the camp and how Michael's paranoia started. Also showed how Conrad Murray came on the scene. I bet that Javon really feels bad about introducing that one. And of course once again they give the proof of how the brothers and Joseph were always after money from Michael and caused so many law suits against Michael.
I just have to share this wonderful news with you. I received a parcel in the mail today (Wednesday, June 18) from a very close friend of mine. She found it in an antique store in her travels. It is a program from the Jacksons Victory Tour and it is in really good shape. It has the ticket stub stapled inside the first page...Exhibition Stadium, Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Saturday, October 6, 1984 8:00 p.m. rain or shine. I have no idea of the seating arrangements back then but this one was gate 11, section 14, row 27, seat 14 and the cost back then was $37.50...have no idea if that is high or not.
How lucky am I to have such a great friend who believes in my love for MJ and how happy he makes me and being involved with MJ's L.O.V.E. is Magical. She has a funny nickname too...Chopper. This little tidbit will also make you chuckle. Once I got out of the hospital I went to my chiropractor because I knew that all of my joints and organs would have been all jammed and jolted upwards from the fall and need to be balanced. Dr. Hildebrand was finished and I jokingly said that Michael had actually pushed me and Catherine said no he wouldn't do anything like that , kidding along with me, and the receptionist didn't miss a beat and said oh yeah he would because he's BAD. Catherine didn't catch it right off and I just started to laugh and the receptionist just repeated yeah he's BAD and Catherine caught on and we all had a big chuckle So now, MJ is securely attached to my living room wall and I get to see him every day which makes me happy as you can imagine.
I remember reading some of you asking what some of us were doing on June 25 and I just didn't have any idea or even wanted to think about it. Well recently I've been assigned a home care lady for 2 hours every Tuesday instead of every other Tuesday as (TMI) I have some incontinence because of when the air cast hits the floor after sleeping I usually dribble and have to change to clean underwear - I don't wear PJ's because I have only 3 pair that will go over the cast and I don't want to cut up any dress pants so jammies work well in the few times I have to go to doctor appointments with loose T-shirts. Tomorrow night (Thursday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m.) my Hairdresser who comes to your house so I'll get my hair cut and she's bringing the blue coloring just in case I need a touch up there. It sure works well with me and getting around. I found out that one of these air casts weighed about 2 lbs because I was supposed to get weighed but the girl forgot so I weighed at home. 2 days before I had my accident I had weighed in at 106. and now I weighed 188 lbs. So I'm back to where I was all because this large hospital could not handle my gluten-free diet and so I didn't get any bread at all until I was able to have some brought in. Anyway best get off to bed - feeling very tired. My home care lady, Jane, who used to live near MjjPureSoul in England. Well Jane has 2 DVD players and she is going to give me 1 because I am probably the only person on the planet who has not heard Xscape. I will always have 1 load of laundry but I can keep the dusting, so Jane's husband is going to draw how to set it up to my TV and we will watch Xscape. So I will remember Michael on June 24 by watching Xscape with Jane Then the following week (Tuesday) will be a regular laundry day and so Jane will do her regular work and then the next (Tuesday) a "play" Tuesday
Just for my interest did anyone see that Victory Tour in Toronto? Wasn't that the tour that at the end of it Michael simply announced that that would be the last time that the brothers would appear together unbeknownst to anyone
I love you all and miss you. Maybe I will get some more energy and be visiting more. I so see everyone soon and I sure hope this chat is understandable!
