Michael is best man at his friend Gerry Inzerillo's wedding to Prudence Salomon in South Africa.

He is also made an honorary member of the Bafokeng Ka Bakwena Tribe in Africa. Michael's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley also attends the ceremony which takes place in Phokeng, Africa.

Michael's parents, Katherine and Joseph Jackson also receive tribal certificates prior to the ceremony.
