Antarctica's Emperor penguins are proving more resilient to climate change than previously believed

Penguins can’t fly, but they are capable of climbing the high, slippery sides of floating ice sheets, researchers found. In a study published in PLoS ONE, scientists with the British Antarctic Survey report that four different colonies of Antarctic penguins have been forced by warming temperatures from their traditional breeding grounds — and are revealing new climbing skills in the process.

As we all know-'global warming' or climate change is a normal cyclical occurrence that has happened since the beginning of time on Earth.

But since many love these amazing penguins including me so I just had to post this! Wink

Well, I don't really believe that there's a thing called global warming since the temperatures have been in the singles and lower teens a majority of the time for me, but I like emperor penguins.  Smile

Nobody that can think for themselves believes the left wing BS about global warming. It's just a way to send $9 billion to other countries (for why who knows?) and get Obama's fav companies more $$ to donate to democrats blabla bla. He is the campaign pres-that's all he ever did and all he ever does. UGH!

THAT is not what I posted this for!

I always LOVED penguins and always love penguin stories Smile
