On-sale date set for individual tickets for ‘Motown,’ ‘Chicago’ musicals

Broadway in Chicago has announced individual tickets on-sale dates for two of its upcoming season musicals.
Tickets, $30-$103, for “Motown the Musical,” the story of Motown founder Berry Gordy told through the iconic hits of the label’s stable of legendary stars, will go on sale at 10 a.m Dec. 13 at the Oriental Theatre box office, 24 W. Randolph, or online at broadwayinchicago.com.. The show will run April 22-July 3, 2014.
Tickets, $30-$95, for “Chicago,” the story of a murderous housewife, a slick lawyer and Chicago’s tabloid press during the roaring ’20s, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at the Bank of America Theatre box office, 18 W. Monroe or online at broadwayinchicago.com. The show will run Feb. 25–March 2, 2014.
