Here we can post our cool clothes and jewelry we have made! Post "how to" make your special hand made specialties if you like as well - I'll get us started with one of my favorite shirts
Here are the instructions of how to make your own:
My Michael Jackson “Self Portrait” long sleeve shirt “how to” make it instructions:
>>>Supplies needed (using exactly what I used to make mine):
Black heavy gauge cotton long sleeve shirt
Bronze and cobalt blue “fine” glitters (“Jewel Glitter” found at hobby/fabric stores which is washable)
Swarovski crystals (clear) for the glove
Black fabric paint and brush (for fine detailing)
Fabric embellishment glue (washable with pointy tip)
>>To make the “picture”
Printer and copy paper
Picture on pc to print out (set printer software to mirror image so MJ’s name is right side up on shirt)
Heaviest plastic “page protector” sheet

>>How to get the picture on the shirt:
Print out the largest size that fills up the copy paper of the “self portrait”
Slide the picture into the page protector - open glue and completely outline the entire picture-don’t fill in-you trace over all the lines that make the SP pix – flip it over and press the wet side with all the glue down firmly on the front of the prepared – pressed and lint free shirt – lift it off –now the outline of the pix is on shirt (glue is pix) then re-glue over the outline to make an adequate amount to begin to apply glitter-use a small funnel – hold finger over opening-pour small amount of bronze glitter into funnel hold over glued area and slowly dispense the glitter along the glue line-move relatively quickly but carefully – as you are applying glitter from time to time dump the excess onto a clean table top or work area that you can gather it up to reuse in funnel-finish the entire outline –all of the pix-take finger and press softly on top of all glittered areas to help glitter adhere-I had a thick glue line so it should be standing up (3D) from the actual shirt-this holds the glitter and results well-let that all dry a few hours-go back and glue inside the glove-the entire area inside – have a capped pen or use little finger to try to keep bronze outlines of fingers cleaned off when you apply glue-you want the fingers to be separated – so all inside fingers and glove are prepped with good amount of glue-shake cobalt blue glitter over the wet glue-use capped pen to clear glitter along bronze glittered areas-you’ll see when you are doing it-press down on glittered areas to adhere-let dry a few hours – glue crystals all over the glove-a couple on fingers too-put large dot of glue first – settle the crystals into the “puddle” and press down-let all dry-use black paint and clean up areas that need to be detailed better-this should lay flat 24 hours – then hang up and show your friends! Wear it and show it off! Cold water wash inside out by gently submerging in and out of the woolite and water-rinse same way-roll while inside out in towel to soak excess water up-hang or lay flat to dry – voila~
