MJWorldCry 2013 UPDATED 6/17/13 - There are only 7 days 23 hours until we all join together at the same time to play MJ's song "Cry" and light our candles on June 25, 2013.

MJWorldCry was founded in November 2009.

On 6/25/2010 'MJWorldCry' the first worldwide 'Cry' event was launched.  The movement organized dozens of countries, and 100's of 1000's of MJ fans to give charitably and at the same time play "Cry" all around the world on the Anniversary of our KOP passing.  See more about what we do, how to be your state's embassador etc.. at the site sourced below.

I look forward to doing this every year on 6/25 and it is something I will do for the rest of my life. I think it's a really great way to grieve and feel connected to all MJ fans on the day.

i've never heard about that i wish i could give money but we just don't have the money to do that the least i could is to think and pray for those less fortunate than me and i'll also play the song cry!!

Doing this every year is a wonderful way to be in solidarity with all MJ Fan~mily members all over the world at the same time on June 25th. I have my candle from the years before and I always buy a new one each year to burn for 24 hours. The 1st year candle lights the new one to pass the torch so to speak.

We have these meets every year in the UK for the WCry, mainly in London. They are ok. Sad though as can be expected

@IJCSLYMJ: Why can't you participate? All you need is a candle to light (I use the same one I used the 1st year and I use it every year), and then at the same time as the rest of the world play MJ's song "Cry" and sing it along with him as it plays. It is a very special few minutes and you will feel the love from the solidarity of all around the world who are doing it too.

I have a special candle that I carved sentiments on to and it is a very tall white pillar - It is the one I lit the minute I knew Michael passed. I burned it for a very long time so it did burn down some, but I lit many other candles from it's flame and kept a candle burning for Michael for many months non stop. The 1st candle I made for MJ is one I light every year and burn all day then I wrap it up in a silk cloth and store with other memorabilia.

Maybe you can get one just for Michael and burn it every year special like I do-just be very careful to have it where it cannot cause a fire Wink

The time WC is done is the time MJ was pronounced - the "official" time (which I know is not correct but that is the time they have as his official time he passed). So it is at 2:26 p.m. Pacific time or 5:26 p.m. Eastern time.

WC is done all around the world in 24 times zones at the same time. So figure out your time zone for your correct time OK?

I think any fragrant candle is good - your choice ~

ok! i new it was at 2:26 how do i find out what my time would be? i'm in Texas and i know there are a few time zones between me and L.A? could i google it? maybe my mom would know? i'm not good with that kind of stuff!

Tx has 2 time zones mountain and central-so which are you in? This is something you can figure out yoursself right? Mountain time you change it by 1 hour, central you change by 2

Right now it is now 12:30pm Pacific-
1:30pm mountain
2:30pm central
3:30pm Eastern

well i am central its 3:33 now so at 2:26 it would be 5:26 like u said? so i would have to light the candle and play the song at 5:26 my time? what does change it by 2 hours mean?
