Third among this week’s list of 10 top-grossing tours is Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour with $6.9 million (US$) in sales from the final date on a six-city swing through Australia and New Zealand (Sept. 18 through Nov. 3). Auckland’s 12,000-seat Vector Arena was the final venue on the Oceania leg of the tour that originally launched in October 2011 and included tour legs in North America, Europe and Asia. With ticket sales added from the Auckland run, the touring production has now topped $325 million in ticket sales from 407 performances, moving it up a slot to No. 9 on Billboard’s list of the top 10 tours of all time. Getting bumped to No. 10 is the Rolling Stones’ Voodoo Lounge tour that grossed $320 million during a 13-month jaunt in 1994-95.
