Hi all (((waves)))
Thank goodness I found my P/W ! I have looked for it for ages which is why I haven't been able to get in here, I have sifted through all my paperwork and there it was Phew!!
So, how is everyone? It looks awfully quite in here at the moment. I have a ton to catch up on so an awful lot of reading to do here.
Great news LOL!!!!! The rubbish Sony site MichaelJackson.com is about to go down the pan anytime now. I'm certainly not going to miss that place barring a small group of very close friends I have there. I have talked about this wonderful and very informative site to them and asked them to come join. They have not yet been informed about the closure of the site as they haven't been active for a few weeks. If they are interested can I give them this site address? I can do it discreetly without others catching it.
Good to see you all

PureSoul!!! I'm so happy to hear from you!!! I always freak out when i forget my PW, thankfully i write them down in a special book!
I've been doing pretty great, I have a few more health problems to sort out but nothing major thankfully! For my birthday i ended up getting a laptop so i'm still getting used to it, but i LOVE it to death!! i'm hoping to jump into Photoshop or something of that sort!!
About MJ.com i got an Email saying they will be remodeling it/making it better.
here's the Email i got:
"Hi there!
We are happy to share with you that there are upgrades to the MichaelJackson.com site coming soon that we think will make for an even better and smoother experience. The Estate and Sony Music have taken fan feedback into consideration and are excited to announce the following changes will occur in the next few weeks:
A faster-loading site across all devices
The developers have been working to ensure that the site remains robust while also allowing for the best experience for all visitors, regardless of whether they are using a computer or mobile device.
New, sleeker design
The new site will feature brighter accent and background colors to improve the graphic display as well as to make the text easier to read.
Facebook comments integration
Fans have previously been able to log into the website using their Facebook account, but now that functionality will be expanded to make integration throughout the site more seamless and allow easier participation in fan-to-fan communication, comments, and discussion threads. It will also integrate discussions with the rest of the content on the site more organically, rather than pushing them off to a separate forum section. As a result, the separate forum section will be eliminated from the website, so it is important that if you communicate with anyone solely through the website forums, you should reach out and exchange other contact information with them in order to stay in touch.
Fan art that has been previously submitted will still be available in the fan galleries, and users will no longer have to create an account to participate in discussions or submit original fan art.
The new site will be a significant improvement to the user experience on MichaelJackson.com, and we look forward to seeing you on the site!"

Great to see you again too IJCSLUMJ
I freaked out as well lol! big time. I have this terrible habit of writing stuff down on scrappy pieces of paper as apposed to a book or proper pad It's hardly surprising they get misplaced amongst my files. I'll have to get a jotter or something. A proper organizer LOL.
Hoping you feel much better before Xmas It's not a great time with all the horrible cold viruses and bacteria that is rife at this time of year. It always happens doesn't it.
I should think your new laptop is a tonic in itself, isn't it I'm sure you'll get used to it in no time at all. Nice one, and they don't come cheap!. You have fun with it girl x
Yes, the email from Sony is not very clear, I don't think many of the users on that site fully understand how it's going to turn out. No doubt it'll be something completely different to how they've explained LOL. They said it when they changed it last time and look how crap it turned out Worse than previously.
I'm just glad for this place.

LOL, I'd say go to the store and find a little notebook, and round up all the Usernames/PWs and write them down, but make sure to rip them up after you get done, you don't want anyone hacking your stuff!
I hope so too, I'm taking some all natural meds for it so maybe by then I'll be feeling ok. UGH yes, all this cold and flu stuff is making me crazy! I'm constantly washing my hands, and trying not to touch things! LOL
yeah ti is! I've just got to see how to get rid of these stupid red squiggly lines inder my words though, I turned it off but it won't go away! Mine was definitely not cheap, but the Laptop itself was on sale, but of course the anti-virus plus the tech support who installed Windows 8.1 racked up a good sum, but it's worth it. It's replacing my tablet that did this update that messed it up, and added a glitch. but I'm still keeping it for travel.
LOL I guess we'll see how it turns out.

Re: Hi all (((waves)))
And you'll never guess what I have just done.......Been to the supermarket and got my groceries in for the weekend and again FORGOT to pick up a NOTE PAD! It's even written down on the damned list!.................I'm hopeless Does it tell me I'm not meant to have one or something? I'll have to highlight it in bright green next time I go.
The natural remedies are a good way to go. Less chemicals and nasties. I hope they work for your problem. Gosh IJCSLUMJ, I see you are another one who forever washes their hands. I'm the same. But it's crucial when there are so many viruses going around. The times I have seen folk sneezing and coughing into their own hands without a tissue, then handling shopping trolleys/baskets That really does get my back up. I get mad and usually shout "Where the hell is your tissue!". All they do is give back a gormless look. They make my blood boil. They don't give a damn. So we do the right thing by having to wash OUR hands just for the sake of them spreading their horrible germs YAK!
Tell me about it. It's nice getting a brand new laptop at a discount price, it's the anti-virus installing and other things they put on like you say. Only then to see the ££££££££ or $$$$$$$ added to the bill. All those extras should come for free!. They make enough out of us as it is. Technology hey.............Comes at a cost
What's on your Xmas list this year then?

Re: Hi all (((waves)))
LOL! I've seen a Michael notepad on Ebay.......if you would like to go look...:D
IA I'm the kind of person that reacts differently to over the counter meds, like with anti-depressants, I tried 3 different meds and the worst of the side effects i had was fainting. I'm thrilled to say that an all natural anti-depressant was the way to go!
UGH yes, i HATE it when we go out in public and these people have this awful chunky cough and they use their hands, then touch something! i like to keep my hands in my pockets when we go out!
I know! i hadn't realized that the anti-virus and tech support cost so much, not to mention the warranty. It's all very important but GEEZE!
oh, lets see
I've needed a new phone, so that, some Michael merch (specifically In The Studio With MJ), some clothes, jewelry, i LOVE stuffed animals so i listed a few that I'd like. My mom and I will also go buy things for ourselves so i have some body soap and some clothes that we bought under the tree!
What about you? Do you have Christmas traditions?

Re: Hi all (((waves)))
Great idea! I'd love! a Michael notepad. I'll check out ebay tomorrow. Thanks for that, I'll let you know. Boy, you have a fabulous list of stuff you want for Xmas I wish someone would buy me all those too. But I think the top of my wanted list is a much needed new pair of hiking boots seeing as I do miles of walking with the foster doggies we get I'm ok for other hiking gear at the moment lol But hell, are they all costly!. I don't know what these companies think we are all made of these days. We certainly get ripped off much of the time.
OMG! I know just what you are referring to with prescribed meds from the GP. You react the same as me with anti-D's, I can't take them either because of the nasty side effects they can have. I tried some about 4 years ago to calm myself down after a lot of family rifts, and I ended up flushing them down the toilet because they made me so ill. The side effects were actually worse than how I felt. I didn't faint but I got inner tremors, nausea, cold sweats and slow pulse. It was terrifying. I also got confusion and rash. It was very scary so I've never touched them since. Speaking of the all natural type, yes. Me too, I now use a rescue remedy that aids panic and things like that. It's a spray that you put on the tongue and it works!. I also use camomile tea. I'm glad the natural meds work for you as well.
Me and hubby are helping out at one of the doggie rescue centre's on Xmas day instead of being home this time. Yes we usually do the tradition but we thought we would make ourselves useful this year by helping the poor lonely doggies and giving them some company That'll include giving them lots of chistmassy treats and turkey for dinner, then out into the play areas for games etc. So that should be fun.
I'm off to check out some Michael merch too to see what I fancy that Hubby can get me lol. Will you be doing the tradition?

Re: Hi all (((waves)))
oooh! sounds nice, I know what you mean about the price of things, hiking gear is very costly, my grandparents dabbled in a bit of hiking years ago.
My mom bought us one of those Nutri-Bullets for Christmas for a steal, the original price was about $100, and we got ours for $85! Same with phones, they just cost so much!
YIKES! I know what you mean about feeling worse on the meds than better. The last one I tried put me in the hospital with a migraine. Speaking about panic and anxiety i take something called 5-HTP it's all natural and works within 30 minutes, i take it before i sing so i'm not so nervous.
That is really sweet you do that! What a great way to spend Christmas! We actually got my cat some catnip and a catnip toy to put in her stocking!
Yes we will! My family opens our presents on Christmas Eve and i open my stocking on Christmas Day, on Christmas Eve we also read the Christmas story from the bible (which has been a tradition for many, many years) and my grandpa has a poem he reads. Then we gather in a circle and I lead us in singing Silent Night. It's always so much fun!

Wow-ee IJCSLUMJ, you really do the whole biz Xmas tradition thing then. I always thought Xmas wasn't celebrated as much in the states like Thanksgiving is? I must be wrong lol.
It's all that yummy food you know.....It's very hard watching the waste line through the festivities while ogling all those yummy mini pies and chocolates. I tend to lose a few pounds beforehand just so I can allow a bit of leeway incase I want to pig out (which usually I do) Lots of veg and turkey is great but it's the dressings like the rich sauces and roasted potatoes steeped in olive oil that pile on the calories. My Hubby is very lucky, he can eat and eat and not gain a single ounce I hate men that can do that My hubby has this habit of finishing off any food I like to save myself for another meal The times I've told him to "Leave Off" MY MEALS......................... He always says 'Well.....I couldn't find anything I fancied'.... I didn't think you'd be bothered and wanted something different from yesterday'. NO! NO! NO!!!.. It was mine! I was looking forward to having the rest tonight! I'll have start eating it all up without saving any lol then he can't sneak into fridge and finish it anymore. Haaa!
I haven't seen the alternative med you speak of however, it sounds very similar to the one I use. Your side effect must have been bad for you to have been treated in hospital? What did they do in hospital to fix it? Sounds pretty scary.

Re: Hi all (((waves)))
oh it definitely is! Christmas starts coming out in stores before Halloween! It's crazy!
LOL I know! I always try to watch what I eat but when the holidays come around I really try not to worry too much I have a total sweet tooth, all the chocolate, and cookies! MMM! but i'm like your hubby, I can pretty much whatever I want and not gain a pound.
LOL that sounds like my dad, i'll have something left over from an outing and he'll take it for lunch for work without asking me! It's like HELOOOOO that happens to be mine.....thankfully that has come to a stop.
Oh gosh it was horrible, I had taken my meds at night, and I developed a bit of a headache that wouldn't let up, I thought maybe I needed to rest my eyes and go to bed thinking it would wear off, but when I woke up the next morning it was still hurting, I was really worried something was wrong, so after I ate something and got myself ready we headed for the ER where we waited for 3 hours when I did get seen I had a few simple teses done to rule anything serious out. The guy said I was having a migraine (what's strange is it didn't feel like one, but I guess they can feel different to different people) anyway the nurse gave me 2 shots in the hip (OUCHHH). One was an muscle relaxer, and the other was one for my nausea. It made me very tired very quickly, so I was in bed and asleep at 10:30 pm. I woke up at about 2:30 or 3 pm the next afternoon with a HORRIBLE hangover.

Hmm i'll do some searching too for you! I actually just bought a wallet (for the many giftcards I received) from Australia so I should get it after the new year! I'll post a pic when I get it!!
Let me see, my mom and I are staying home this year as we are supposed to get a wintery mix of some sort, so we will Fondue (sp?) for dinner and desert! I sure hope 2015 is better then this year, I'm working on getting myself back in shape.

Wow! IJCSLUMJ we must be tuned in here because for the past few weeks I've been looking for a new Wallet myself as my current one is falling to bits lol, it's always the zip that wears. You are getting just the kind I want with the card pockets. I also like window pockets for little photos but they are becoming more sparse. I also want the window pockets for my rail ID cards so I don't need to keep taking them out each time. Nothing messes them up more than pulling them out and shoving them back in each time. I also need the zip compartment for coins lol. Please yes! do show photos when you get yours
Well, it appears we are all having a cosy night in tonight. Me too. We just can't be bothered going out as it's too much hassle it's much easier to stop home and watch DVD's and enjoy some munches in the comfort of our houses. Tomorrow, again hubby and I will be out walking doggies at the rescue centre making ourselves useful.
Have you any plans for tomorrow?
Ploppy..... (((Hugs))) We are thinking of you dearest. I hope you have some company this evening? If not, we are right here for you on pooter.
Hang on... just thought...I'm in a different time zone to you guys I think? It's like 10.35pm right now I type this message. Not sure where you all are and what the time is for you now????

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! That sounds nice Ploppy, Hopefully you and your kitty are keeping eachother company! I'm so happy 2014 is done and over with! What a crap year it was!
@PureSoul, I know what you mean, I just have a lot of space in my purse. The space that I have in my new purse will hold it and I think it would just be easier to find everything, PLUS I can have a place for a MJ pic in the picture compartment! At least until I decide to learn to drive
For tomorrow we are just chilling at home keeping warm as the freezing rain has shown up (it's 2:38 a.m BTW) We'll probably just play Skip-Bo (card game) and other games!
Happy New Year Mi!!
You are very welcome GoldenHeart!! I LOVE your avi BTW!!

Hi IJCSLUMJ and all MJ fanmily...IJCSLUMJ I did enjoy the quietness with Lita last night and unfortunately I was only good for the hockey game, the Toronto Maple Leafs won finally! This was the first time in years that I missed the ball dropping but I am so tired with this health problem!
Happy Birthday to ljmissmj - hope you had a fun day and all the best in this coming year.
Of course I am still settling into the new digs...still loving it sooo much and so does Michael! Does anyone know if it is possible to find a Michael Jackson clock? I need a large wall clock for my living-room because Michael looks right into the major place and space of the whole apartment! I'm going to check out Amazon tonight.
Love your avi too Golden Heart!
