On September 5,1991, MTV's 'Video Vanguard Award' was renamed the 'Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award' to honor his contributions and accomplishments regarding the culture of music videos. Bon Jovi was the first recipient.

This was a very cool recognition of Michael from MTV! I remember that show with BJ - Michael Jackson made the world go around IMO in so many facets of life on this planet! Maybe sounds a little crazy but so what! I am mad crazy about MJ - so makes sense right? lol
