Michael Jackson kids still poor on paper: Paris says she'll move if Romney wins

Michael Jackson’s estate is valued at somewhere around $600 million, but his children are still poor on paper, according to yesterday’s New York Daily News. Lawyers are still working on settling the estate and estimate it could take another two to five years. All agree that eventually Michael Jackson’s three children should walk away with a hefty inheritance from the pop star’s estate. Meanwhile Paris Jackson just tweeted that she’s planning to give up her current lifestyle and move to Africa if Mitt Romney wins the Presidency.
The “Michael Jackson Family Trust” gives half the proceeds to his three children, with the other half going to the late singer’s 82 year-old mother Katherine Jackson during her lifetime. The children currently get by on about $70,000 per month which goes to cover their gated mansion, home schooling, around the clock security, and vacations.
Earlier this summer the financial stresses of Michael Jackson’s estate sparked an internal family war when some of Katherine’s other children whisked her away to a spa in Arizona for some rest and relaxation. It was claimed Michael’s siblings Randy, Jermaine, Janet, and Rebbie demanded estate executors John Branca and John McClain resign citing fraud.
They claimed they’re actions weren’t financially motivated, but other sources told The Daily News that they wished to accelerate Katherine’s access to the estate so that she’d be able to share some of the wealth with them before her death.
The current state of Michael Jackson’s estate is said to be a shocking situation to the “Billy Jean” singer’s brothers and sisters. They see how much money the estate has raked in since Jackson’s untimely death from a drug overdose and don’t understand why none of it is flowing to the family.
Paris Jackson waged a Twitter campaign to get her grandmother back to the California home she shares with her. Paris has nearly one million followers on the social website and her actions eventually worked. In the aftermath of the fiasco, a judge granted Katherine’s grandson TJ co-guardianship of the three kids.
Just yesterday ABC News reported that Paris Jackson took to Twitter again on Sunday to express her views on the upcoming presidential election. Paris tweeted that in her view the country’s problems are leftover from the Bush administration, and that President Obama needs more time to fix it.
She went on to say that, “…if Obama wasn’t president, the country would be flushed down the toilet”. She followed that with a pledge that if Mitt Romney wins, she’s going to move to Africa, and then promptly offered no apologies for airing her political views.

Personal note: Where is Paris getting this idea? Has to be hearing far left wing banter somewhere unfortunately IMO. She is so young to know what she is talking about on this topic and will likely make comments that are not very informed from time to time while she matures. Love the girl so much as she is precious and naive - hope she receives proper sensible guidance on making such claims in the future.
