@jw224: Well I have read about this before, in fact I remember posting something about this a few years ago. I was happy to see you post this thread and wondered if possibly you have any articles or information on this topic. If not I can try to search my archives to see if I have anything - thanks for posting this topic. Smile

Well, this video shows some photos of Michael performing dangerous, and these are in the this is it photo album, so they are real, he may not have recorded enough of these songs for them to be in the movie, but i wish they would release them, the video is quite long, but it only shows 3 pictures, so don't watch the whole thing expecting to see more.

Oh yes, that is certainly what it is! Thanks for searching the minute mark. It is so great watching TII isn't it? Just love every second of anything MJ did! I had to get the DVD (and bluray) the second it was released because of being so emotional when I saw it in the theater. Did you see it on the big screens? If so did you get the lanyard and pass? I didn't get it at the theater so I contacted Sony and they sent them to me lol. I got 4 of them and gave to my friend who attended it with me and family members. Cool

Actually I will do some more research, because some of those may not be mj songs, I think it is a bit inaccurate maybe.

Michael sampled the song owner of a lonely Heart on his album history in the song D.S so that is probably why it is there. I don't know about the other ones though, it is mostly accurate though.

The Good -The Bad and the Ugly is an old speghetti Western starring Clint Eastwood. Psycho is a Hitchcock fim starring the late Anthony Perkins. Off the top of my head, and we all know that James Bond theme lol.

Great compilation jw!

I was reading up about dirty diana and he only rehearsed it briefly, so there wasn't enough footage to put in the film. Or that's what Kenny ortega says at least.

I find it rather odd that there was a stunt double listed in the movie

I think the stunt double would be used for some of the more strenuous moves (ie. toaster etc..) that MJ would do for the shows but for rehearsals (TII being a doc of the rehearsals and all), would save his energy and maybe prevent injuries as well. Just a guess.

One of the Dancers in the TII was a MJ impersonator. And I also remember seeing that his name wasn't called out by kenny during the dancer auditions, can't remember where I saw it though. I find that rather odd as well. On the topic of doubles. Do any of you believe that they shot any extra footage with a double and used it in the movie. If so, tell me why you think this, and if not, tell me why not Smile The reason I did think they may have for a while is that they seem to use unnecessarily far away shots from michael at some point in the movie. When we know there was a camera at the front they could have easily shown the footage from. The TWYMMF performance for example. I don't think they used body double. But I did see it as a possibility for a while. Sorry for the long post Smile

I honestly don't think that they used body doubles for TII. My thinking is, why would they use one? No one can replace the original, and with all the footage they had I just don't see why they'd want to use one. I've heard some people argue that they thought they used body doubles because he danced weird or "off" in some parts, but he was in rehearsal and was not dancing and singing 100%, he even said so in the movie that he was conserving his voice. Just my thoughts. Smile
