Michael Jackson lawsuit: Will Debbie Rowe reveal true identity of kids’ father? (Video) By: Bryan Bard

April 18, 2013

Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine and children are suing AEG Live for wrongful death, and as the case nears trial in L.A., she’s apparently nervous over Debbie Rowe’s testimony as it relates to paternity of her grandchildren Prince and Paris. Sources claim Katherine Jackson is trying to find out ahead of time if Michael’s former wife may testify that Jackson is not the biological father of Prince and Paris, the two children she bore while married to the king of pop. Debbie Rowe, 54, is on the witness list for both Katherine and AEG Live, according to TMZ on Thursday, April 18.

Sources close to the case report that Debbie has already been deposed by AEG, and amazingly they did not inquire into the paternity issue. It’s believed she is the one person who knows the most about the identity of the true biological father of the oldest two kids.

TMZ reported in 2009, after the singer's death in June, that Michael Jackson is not the bio dad of Prince and Paris, now 16 and 15. Katherine’s legal team is apparently worried that AEG may try to expose this fact in court.

This would likely be an attempt to show the children, who are named plaintiffs in the case, have no legal standing to sue on their father’s behalf since they have no biological connection to him.

The Jackson lawyers have allegedly already filed motions to exclude any paternity evidence in the lawsuit, but the judge has yet to rule on them. The Hollywood Gossip reports that Michael’s longtime friend, Dr. Arnold Klein, has long been suspected of being the biological father of the children.

The issue may ultimately be moot however, since under California law, “when a woman gives birth while living with her husband, the husband is conclusively presumed to be the father, unless he's sterile or impotent”.

Michael Jackson’s youngest son, 11 year-old Blanket, was born to an unknown surrogate, not Debbie Rowe. The biological paternity has been questioned in his case as well.

Katherine and her grandchildren are suing AEG Live for wrongful death, due to the negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray, as Michael prepared for his new tour which they were producing.

Jackson family matriarch Katherine is apparently nervous about former daughter in-law Debbie Rowe's testimony in the upcoming wrongful death lawsuit.

This is really BS! That whole statement about the kids not being able to sue if they have no biological connection does not seem correct to me. Michael had legal custody over his children and loved and cared for all three of them since birth. Even if they are not biologically his, it would make no sense to say that just because an adopted child is suing for the wrongful death of a parent it will not be allowed because their parent did not conceive them. Just because you father a child doesn't make you a "parent", what makes you a parent is supporting and unconditionally loving and caring for your child. I will look into this and see if it actually has any validity and will post information here.
