Happy Memorial Day!!

On this holiday we remember the brave men and women who fought for this country. I'll share some family members who I remember today. My grandfather was a Korean War veteran who served as an Army Sergeant. I also have a dad who served in the US Navy. This was the ship he was on:

On this day I am remembering my great-grandfather who served in the Navy during World War II; and his wife, my great-grandmother, who was a war nurse and I cannot remember which war it was in. Their son, my grandfather, enlisted in the US Navy when he was only 17 years old; he was stationed in France for awhile in the 60's and 70's and he later served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.One of my cousins served in the army during Vietnam and unfortunately was killed in combat. I also have a cousin who is currently serving in the Navy in Afghanistan and is actually on a two week leave now and will be returning home in October. God bless all of our current, former, and future troops and keep them safe.
