On September 12, 1971, the Jackson 5's 7th studio album "Get It Together" was released. The single "Get It Together" reached #28 and "Dancing Machine" peaked at #2. It was the first J5 album in which all 5 of the brothers shared lead vocals.

This is a huge memory for me (more for 'DM') to be totally honest lol - I was just really sure of my 'moves' and had no trouble publically gettin' down baby! Get me to those house parties (too young yet to get into those discos)
