Surprisingly, Justin feels victimized. Just a day after the singer was charged with a DUI, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest, he took to Instagram to post quite the controversial pic on Jan. 24.
Justin Bieber was arrested at four in the morning on Jan. 23 for drag racing while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and after getting out on a $2,500 bail, the singer surprisingly sounded like he had no regrets when he posted a photo comparing himself to Michael Jackson.
Justin Bieber’s First Tweet After DUI Arrest
After Justin’s court appearance, the 19-year-old hopped onto the top of an SUV outside the courthouse to wave to fans. It definitely came off as ignorant — and if it didn’t then, it definitely does now.
On Jan. 24, he posted the photo of himself waving, placed next to a pic of Michael Jackson, The King of Pop, waving to fans on top of his SUV. You may remember Jan. 16, 2004 , Michael did this outside the Santa Maria Courthouse, after he plead not guilty to child molestation charges. For the caption, Justin wrote “What more can they say” with a crown. “What More Can I Say” is also a Jay Z song! Is he comparing him to two of the best artists?

Michael felt like a victim in court during the case, so Justin’s comparison shows that he also feels like a victim. Comparing himself to MJ isn’t exactly the right way to go to stay out of the media.
Justin Bieber Arrested In Miami
This whole debacle began early in the morning on Jan. 23, when Justin was caught going twice the speed limit while racing rapper Khalil down a residential street in Miami. After being pulled over, police suspected that Justin was inebriated, a suspicion he confirmed, admitting that he had taken prescription drugs, smoked weed, and drank a beer.
He was arrested for DUI, drag racing, resisting arrest (he refused to take his hands out of his pockets), and driving with an expired license.
Showing either ambivalence or more likely, pure fear, Justin’s subsequent mugshot showed him oddly smiling, and when he was finally read his charges in court later in the day, he appeared to be sad. However, he didn’t look too upset outside the courthouse waving.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Sheriff's investigators Thursday asked prosecutors to charge Justin Bieber with felony vandalism in his alleged egging of a neighbor's home.
"No decision will be made this week," Los Angeles County District Attorney spokesman Ricardo Santiago told CNN.
Justin Bieber frequently takes time to bond with his dad, Jeremy Bieber, who hasn't been far away as his son has gotten into legal trouble. Here's who else is in Bieber's inner circle:
Justin Bieber is rarely spotted without a crew of a few friends, which sometimes also includes his longtime manager, Scooter Braun (pictured left). Along with R&B singer Usher, right, Braun has served as something of a mentor and guide to Bieber as he's grown up in the spotlight.
Bieber and his mother, Pattie Mallette, are widely known to have a close relationship, with Biebs never being shy about bringing mom to awards shows. Here, she joins him on stage as he accepts the 2012 American Music Award for Artist of the Year.
Singer Khalil is a regular on Justin Bieber's Instagram account, but he's getting even more publicity now that he's been arrested along with the pop star on suspicion of DUI. Khalil, 19, released a single called "Stars" in June 2013.
Even as he's become astronomically famous, Bieber hasn't lost touch with his Canadian childhood friends. Ryan Butler (pictured right in 2011) is a familiar face to Beliebers both on and off the red carpet, and he considers Bieber a brother. On Twitter, you'll often catch him offering Bieber supportive tweets like this one.
While Lil Za is known to dabble in rapping with an aspiration to act, he's best known as the guy who tends to crash at Bieber's Calabasas pad and drive his cars. That's how Lil Za ended up getting arrested on January 15 -- he was a house guest when police raided Bieber's home as part of a felony vandalism investigation, and cops said they found Xanax and Ecstasy near the 20-year-old's bed.
Ryan Good was the guy who was labeled as Bieber's "swagger coach" in 2009 and 2010, although he was also acting as a road manager. By 2011, Good gave up his position as a "swagger coach," but he and Bieber are still close.
Bieber has been known to refer to blockbuster actor Will Smith as "Uncle Will," and the star's manager, Scooter Braun, explained in a 2013 interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Smith serves as another mentor for Bieber. Braun said Smith and Bieber have instituted a weekly call to help the teen star work through any issues.
Given Bieber's closeness with Will Smith, it makes sense that he's also good friends with Will's son, Jaden. Occasionally misinformation has spread about what the 15-year-old gets into when he hangs out with his older pal; Jaden had to squash a rumor after Bieber's 19th birthday in 2013 that he'd gone clubbing with the star.
With their shared love of cars, graffiti and body art, is it any wonder that Chris Brown and Justin Bieber have bonded? After Brown went to rehab for anger management issues, Bieber showed his support by tagging "Free Breezy" on a wall in Bogota, Colombia.
Rapper Lil Twist is another member of Bieber's crew who has a weakness for luxury cars. The Young Money artist, who can also be found at times hanging out at Bieber's place or cruising in one of his cars, was arrested on suspicion of DUI in 2012. He was driving Bieber's chrome 2012 Fisker Karma.
Drake, seen here with Bieber in 2011, is another star who's taken the young singer under his wing. According to Braun, Drake is one of the first people to rip into Bieber after spotting a tawdry headline about him in the news. "He'll text me, like, 'What the hell is going with this? I'm pissed. I'm calling him right now. I'm about to go in on him,' " Braun told THR in 2013.
Selena Gomez is Bieber's ex-girlfriend, but she has a habit of popping up unexpectedly every now and then, making us think it's possible they might still be in contact. Bieber shared this cuddly photo on Instagram soon after the New Year.
Detectives presented their findings to a prosecutor who must decide whether Bieber, 19, will be charged with vandalism and if the charge is a misdemeanor or a felony, Santiago said.
The neighbor accused Bieber of tossing eggs over a fence and onto the mansion next door on January 9. Investigators pressed for a more serious felony charge because the attack allegedly caused an estimated $20,000 in damage.

If it were to happen, a misdemeanor charge would be easier for the singer to deal with, since he would not have to personally appear in court. His lawyer could handle the case without his presence. A felony, which carries a more serious penalty, would require Bieber's attendance in court.
A dozen Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies raided Bieber's $6.5 million home in the exclusive Oaks community in Calabasas, California, last month, taking the security video system as evidence.
Thursday's meeting at the Van Nuys courthouse was the second with prosecutors. The recommendation of a felony charge was confirmed by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. David Thompson.
At the first meeting last week, the detectives were asked to conduct more interviews to "tighten up" their case, Thompson said.
Bieber also faces misdemeanor-level criminal charges in Miami Beach, Florida, and Toronto, Canada.

Again, a few steps behind and maybe you all know this but Usher has just ended his contract with Bieber. He wasn't managing Justin just mentoring. You may have noticed since Justin's early days (Baby, Baby, Baby) he has become performing-wise more like MJ...dance steps mainly and actually not that close. Usher has been working with Justin for a long time but he is upset with Justin's behaviour that he has officially announced that he will not be working with Bieber any more. There was also talk that Bieber's manager, Scooter (and I'll be darned if I can remember his last name right now) has been in talks with Sharon Osbourne to take over Justin's contract for a certain period of time to get him straightened out and Sharon is dying to take the task on. After all she saved Ozzie, Jack and Kelley when they were into everything bad. Scooter has been trying everything with Justin but he can't handle him and it's too late to keep saying that he is "just an ordinary teenager". NOT. And Canada does not really want him back, he's an idiot - life of a superstar and just keeps abusing it. And yes, how dare he even bring the name of Michael Jackson into his conversations. If he is suppose to be such a big MJ fan, he certainly is not giving MJ the respect that he deserves.

Woah, didn't know that! Someone needs to straighten his rear out! He is messing up big time, and it really irks me how he copies Michael. I get admiration, but bringing Michael up in his own problems is imo sick

I agree. I know that Usher was a good friend of Michael and it is obvious that he has incorporated a lot of Michael's dance moves into his show. But he has made them his own like Michael did when he was little and watched all of his idols perform like James Brown and then he'd copy their dance moves and then adapt them into his own styles. Like in Billie Jean, although no dance steps are from Charlie Chaplin but some of his moves are Charlie Chaplin inspired...the bending over at the end of the song and offering the hat to the audience...silent auctioning. That's how you show respect to your idols you don't trash them like Bieber has been doing and now he has lost a very great mentor in the loss of Usher.
