When Silly Things Happen Around Us

I thought a subject like this would raise a few giggles. When we find little things around us each day that occur it gets us thinking 'How on earth does it do that'. You'll get what I'm saying when I give some fine but yet simple examples. I hope you also share some fascinating facts you come across    Here are my 3 examples to kick off :   

1) When you have scatter cushions on your sofa, how come the zipper/buttons always end up facing upwards?

2) Why does the phone ring or someone knock at the door when you're in the bathroom?

3) How does that little teaspoon always end up in the wash- up bowl despite having a dishwasher?

I have one, why is it that when you are watching TV and a show comes on that you hate the remote is ALL THE WAY across the room?

I know that feeling with losing the remote   When asking someone where it is the answer is always the same "Think where you were when you last saw it".

Well, if I knew that I'd go and get it! lol!


Another one is, when you've washed the car it nearly always rains! afterwards   

Why does toast always end butter-side down when it's dropped on the floor?

Another one is finding you are the one who mostly fills up the damned kettle to make tea/coffee. Aaagggh!!

I HATE IT when I'm listening to a song on youtube and singing with it and the video starts buffering
ARRGH!!!! Embarrassing!!

How about when you just get in the showerandget drenched witb water and go to grab face soap, shampoo, ect. And you realize you left it on the counter, cue the long cold walk from the shower.

Oh yes!! LOL many a time does that happen

How about when you want that all important lie-in after a late night only to have something disturb your sleep and you have to get up. Aaagghhh! morning rage lol

Yes I hate that! ! Mostly its my cat just as I am drifting off to sleep she decides to jump on my bed, scares me to death!

Yes that is hilarious midangerous, I can just vision it    Getting an anger moment because the microwave won't work is quite enough to make one slam the door   

It's like being the one to fill that blasted empty kettle. Everyone hates the job of having to fill it, I don't know why lol.............it's only a matter of holding the kettle under the tap and turning it.

Last week I had a part two of a dinner I'd made from the night before which was waiting for me in the fridge. Looking forward to it after a busy day, I was famished when I got home only to discover my husband had eaten it.............   woah         Not a happy bunny was I !!.. Anyway..hubby has a sweety/chocolate drawer in the cabinet    so the following day I helped myself to those provisions    

I didn't speak to him for 2 days

on the topic of people eating our food, we had went to a chinese restaurant and i brought my fried rice home so a few days later i go to eat it for lunch and realize it was gone. my dad had eaten it!! OMG my blood was boiling, it was MY rice and he ate the ENTIRE THING!!!!! so when he cam back home from his buisness trip i gave him a good ear-full about eating MY food!!!!!

LMAO! IJCSLuMJ. What is it with men! eating our leftover meals!???? None of it makes sense particularly when they have their own chosen food items. Our freezer is packed mainly of my husband's favourite items including very well stoked units. I don't eat the sh!t he likes, see. Whereas I'm more on the vegetarian side and salads etc. I just don't know why he polished off mine    Bags are a great thought but nothing stops my hubby being curious LOL.

They never hoover up their crumbs either. Plates galore! in the kitchen, but NO.......... they prefer their hands!

URGH I know men will eat just about ANYTHING you put in front of them! When we go to my grandparents house for dinner you have to get all the food you want before my grandpa inhales it all! My mom and I actualy have a cabnet in my bathroom where we hide our snacks (M&Ms, snack cakes, ect.) He doesn't know a thing LOL! But I'm like you I'm more of a vegetarian so he loks at me funny when I only eat rice of mixed vegetables for dinner lol.

There's this little sign outside a Baptist Church I drive by every time I go to work and it says this: "Whoever's praying for snow, PLEASE stop!"

That's hilarious midangerous   I love to see those notices. Same as writing you see on works vans that haven't seen a car wash for months. Someone will write funny things on the back doors. The most hilarious one I saw was when somebody wrote :: I wish my wife was this dirty::

Sounds like they do it purposely just to get students out of bed   I'd be pissed off too particularly as it's a chance for a much needed nap-in.    

Yeah I'd be fuming!  schools can be a pain like that I guess
