Bad 25 (Spike Lee) Documentary BluRay/DVD Release Delayed

According to Spike Lee's '40 Acres' web admin the release date has been pushed back. The Bad 25 DVD will not be released in February 2013. Fans are asked to 'stay tuned' and check back on the site for an update. This information was obtained from an email response to a MJ fan who had sent an inquiry about the release on the 40 acres.com site. Nothing else was divulged.

I know exactly how you feel midangerous. I felt pretty bummed out about this so I decided to work on the Neverland Forevermore Forum for awhile. It always makes me feel better reminiscing about those days. Go check out the new threads, maybe they will lift your spirits too

There is false info about a tweet that SL sent out-saying the DVD will be out this summer. I have checked SL's twitter and the website and there is still no set date.

The SL website does not have this mentioned about a release date today, it seems to be a fan tweet. (see below)
People saw the tweet from a fan on SL's personal twitter (see below) and jumped the gun seeing this: "SUMMER YO" in the fan tweet-there was no reply from SL - only retweets - so people are mistakenly over zealous and assuming it is SL saying it-see the tweet here:

The talk is that SL does have odd ways to reply on tweets on his personal twitter. It may be he did write in the fan tweet by cut/paste that 'Summer Yo' as WATW mentioned earlier to me today. She checked the twitter of the fan and the original tweet did not have the 'Summer Yo' initially in it. So as admin suggested before, hopefully the DVD will be out this summer. That tweet on SL's page was confusing really! It looks like there is NO reply from SL, and that the fan tweeted that too. Especially since he said 'Yo Spike' in his tweet to him. 'fingers crossed'

BTW: I just looked again on SL's 40acres.com and there is nothing about this summer there, still has the same 'new' update in the 'news' from 2/12/13.

This is from a fan on another site. (She has emailed 2x's now-this is the 2nd email reply from SL website contact email which she received today - this afternoon:

@midangerous: You wrote that the twitter was from Spike Lee, that is not SL, that's a fan tweeting the question. That's SL's personal twitter. He makes the announcements on the 40acres.com site and his twitter for that filmworks company-see the posts in this thread.

We just need to watch 40acres.com (SL filmworks website) home page (where the "news" has "no set date" still posted and the twitter feed FOR SL's company (40 acres and a mule) on the home page too. He said he will update the website, not his personal twitter.
