Michael Jackson’s father Joe has revealed that it was a fan, who informed him of his son’s death.
He admitted on Piers Morgan Tonight that he was in Las Vegas, when a fan called him up and told him that something was wrong as an ambulance had taken off from the legendary singer’s place and the fire department was following it, the Daily Mail reported.
The music manager said that the saddest part about the whole thing was that his son Michael had tried to reach him.
He also seemed resentful about the fact that he felt pushed out of his son’s life towards the end.
“They treated him like Howard Hughes, you know? They couldn’t - the family couldn’t get to him, you know, like they should have,” he said.
