'Killer' doctor of Michael Jackson demands £300,000 for autobiography book deal

THE doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson is trying to peddle his autobiography to US publishers and demanding an advance of more than £300,000.
Conrad Murray wrote the first seven chapters of his book during the 23 months he served for involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles county jail prior to his release last week.
A senior source at one highly respected publishing house in New York said yesterday: “We passed on this without reading a word of his partial manuscript. Handling that man’s memoirs is not on our agenda.
“I happen to know he has spoken with other publishers but I believe anyone who allows him to profit from his crime will only be buying trouble and risking public opprobrium.”
Former heart specialist Murray, 60, has admitted he is broke and “desperate” to earn money to support himself, his actress girlfriend Nicole Alvarez, 31, and their four-year-old son Ché.
Los Angeles media analyst Mike Raia said: “It is far from uncommon in America for criminals, even Mafia mobsters, to walk out of prison and sign a lucrative book deal but Murray is almost universally reviled.
“I would be incredulous if any reputable publishing house would even contemplate writing him a cheque for $500,000.”
One option for Murray would be to return to his birthplace of Trinidad. His mother Milta flew from there to LA last week to greet him on his release. She said: “He has been punished and that should be the end of the matter.”
Murray’s lawyer revealed the states where he practised as a doctor have revoked his medical license, although he was fighting for reinstatement.

Personal note: Hopefully since this "highly respected publishing house in New York" commented: “We passed on this without reading a word of his partial manuscript. Handling that man’s memoirs is not on our agenda." the other publishers will follow suit. That publisher adding: “I happen to know he has spoken with other publishers but I believe anyone who allows him to profit from his crime will only be buying trouble and risking public opprobrium.” shows how much of a pariah CM is considered to be! "Universally reviled" - that is an understatement. But a true one as we all know.
This is great news. This also shows that these publishers KNOW how millions will react to such a book deal! Conrad Murray will not profit from a book deal with a publisher is the message. However there is nothing to stop him from self publishing which would be a loss as I don't believe ANYONE would back that and NOBODY would ever buy that either! Murray loses and that is as it should be.

Nobody should even be acknowledging this Murdering POS
We fans are the ones keeping this moron relevant, just don't even talk about him.
That is boycotting him don't even mention his murdering name.
I been boycotting him since June 25,2009 the only thing I watched with him was his trial and my favorite part was when they slapped the cuffs on him.
He wanted for someone to give him sympathy by the look on his mug.
Boycotting him would be not talking about him,making forums about him, not watching him/buy anything he's involved with. NO ONE will give him a book deal.
The fans that are talking about him are keeping him relevant

@mjsangel: Your opinion is your right. I and many others believe that to not know what CM is doing is not acceptable. We are ardently doing proactive things to PREVENT him from profit from interviews-the book-and-from not obtaining a reversal of the TMB MD license revocation. Not posting url links prevents many hits on the sites that profit from posting the CM stories. Knowing that the NY publisher said no along with many others refusing to publish his tripe is directly related to the MJ Community making it clear that this would not bode well.

I Understand where you are coming from but we are only giving him what he want's and it's to be talked about.
He don't deserve being talked about for what he did,
He killed a man and only got 2 years in jail (not even prison)
for killing him the Biggest celebrity on the Planet and he only gets 2 years????
and now he's going to try anything to make money off of what he did. if you don't click on links then these tabloid rags wont do anything on him because they will know we mean business when we say we are Boycotting.
