On August 31, 1987, Michael Jackson’s 7th studio album “Bad” was released. “Bad” produced 5 #1 singles, the first album in history to do so. It is certified 8x platinum by the RIAA, selling over 8 million copies in the United States alone. It reached #1 in the US, UK, Japanese, Mexican, and Swedish album charts, just to name a few. Today, August 31, 2012, marks the 25th anniversary of the “Bad” album release.
